Obesity - Health Risks of Obesity,
How obesity affects your health depends on many things, including your age, gender, where you carry your body fat, and how physically active you are.Risk for diseases
If you are obese, you are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and triglycerides, coronary artery disease (CAD), stroke, and sleep apnea, among other conditions. If you lose weight, your risk for these conditions is reduced.
stomach(sometimes called apple-shaped), you are at greater risk for type 2 diabetes, high bloodpressure, high cholesterol, and coronary artery disease than people who are lean or people with fat around the hips (sometimes called pear-shaped).
I'm on track to achieving my ideal weight, but more importantly, i am on track to my ideal body mass index largely in part due to the FIT BODY COMPOSITION SYSTEM. So far i have lost a total of 23 pounds of fat, built 4 pounds of lean muscle, reducing my body fat from 20% to 9% thus eliminating a many potential health risks. The health risks are real and millions of people worldwide are dealing with the raves of obesity everyday. Even kids nowadays have to check their glucose levels and inject themselves with insulin because of obesity. I believe one way we can reverse these trends is by simply by changing how we view food and incorporating more physical activity on a day to day basis. I did it you can too.
